MLK Tours: 10:00am

Sunday, August 2, 2026

One of our activities for the family reunion is a visit to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta, where we'll explore the rich history and legacy of one of the most influential leaders in American history. The tour will take us through Dr. King's childhood home, where we’ll step into the world that shaped his vision of justice and equality. We’ll also visit the Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Dr. King preached and where his powerful messages of peace, love, and resilience still echo today. Walking through the museum exhibits, we’ll gain a deeper understanding of his life, the Civil Rights Movement, and the ongoing impact of his work. It’s a meaningful, educational experience that will not only inspire but also provide an opportunity to reflect on the values of family, unity, and the fight for justice; values that are at the core of our own family’s journey. This is a great alternative for those not attending Sunday service.

Please arrive 30 minutes before showtime at the visitor center in order to receive tickets. Showtimes begin at 10:00am. Free entry with ticket provided.

Address: 450 Auburn Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30312
